THE HATCH LATCH

Designed to stop the Heki mini & midi roof lights from blowing open

The catches exist in two forms and suit both types of Heki rooflights in caravans and motorhomes :

The Heki Mini and the Heki Midi.

For the larger Heki Midi roof light, it is best to fit both the Heki Mini & Heki Midi catches, because the Midi catch works on both of the lower positions and the Mini catch works for the fully open position. 👍

See below for pictures and pricing (price inclusive of  2nd class UK postage ✉ Overseas postage prices on request)

DIY fitting is easy, but a fitting service is available if required (limited to around the Greater Manchester area - at extra cost). 🔧🔩

2. With a marker pen, carefully mark through the screw hole of the catch onto  the body of the Heki housing. The mark should be  at the point of intersection with the horizontal moulding line on the Heki sidewall.

1. Put the Heki roof light bar into the lower opening position. Carefully locate the new catch over the the spigot on the roof light  bar.............hold it still with your finger and check it is level & check the clearances.

3. Carefully drill a suitable pilot hole (3mm Ø) through the inner skin in the Heki sidewall.

4. Screw the (supplied) self-tapping screw through the new catch & into the Heki side-wall. Do not over-tighten............just  enough to hold the catch from swinging freely.

5. Catch shown in the stowed position.
